RESOLUTION NO.2025-027
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE LIFT STATION 5 FORCEMAIN REHABILITATION ROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Lift Station 5 Forcemain Rehabilitation
Project, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement:
New Look Contracting, Inc.
$729,901.50
G M Contracting, Inc.
$740,753.36
Minger Construction Co. Inc.
$749,908.51
Northdale Construction Company, Inc.
$763,251.07
Pember Companies, Inc.
$878,554.50
Meyer Contracting Inc.
$898,418.54
and;
WHEREAS, it appears that New Look Contracting, Inc. of Rogers, Minnesota, is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract
with New Look Contracting, Inc. of Rogers, Minnesota in the name of the City of Arden Hills for
the Lift Station 5 Forcemain Rehabilitation Project according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 10TH
DAY OF MARCH, 2025.
