The meeting W55 called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Crepeau.

Johansen refe.'red Counci I to .the Minutes of the Public Works Com-
mitTee Meeting of 12/3175, recommending feasibility studies for both
Hamllne Avenue and County Road F (Lexington Avenue to Hamllne Avenue).
After discussion of various street widt~ alternatives, Wingert moved,
seconded by Feyerelsen, that Caun:! I auth,:>,'ize the City Engineer to
prepare a feasibility ~.tudy on both, i3nd i!ld'vidually - f<amline
Avenue (1-694 to Highway 96) and County Road F (Lexingtor to Haml ina);
study to cover street width options, drainage proposals; study to also
include cost of 4" mat over existing Hamli,e Avenue roadway W,C;I.uAd-

Bethel Meters
Johansen reported that the Individual mete, removal project at Bethel
College has been completed; meters wi II be cleaned and tested; has
tentative buyer for the large com?ound meter.
McNiesh noted that wher, all costs arB kno\in, Bethel wi II be advised
of Its proportionate share as per agreement.
No.8 Lift Station Proiact
Johansen noted thaT th~','Ttt station by-pass was put into operaTion
on December 3rd; not the lift station, as noted In the Public Works
Committee Minutes of December 3rd.
Christoffersen report~he has not heard from Par-Z; does not know
staTus of equipment for 11ft station No.8.

Case No. 12 -35, Pemtom, Inc. - Landscape Guarantee tlonds.
After discussion, Wingert moved, seccnded by Feye re I sen,
that Counc I I approve release of landscape performance bonds
for Addi-rions I through 7, Townhouse Villages, contingent
upon Counc i I approv,31 of Addition 7 contractual instru-
ment. Motion carr; ad un an imous Iy.

condition; no apparent reason why CiTY cannot plow them this winter.

covered with snow and ice, CI-ichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that
Counc II authorize City plowing of Those strElets In Hunters Park to
be dedicated as pub: Ie stree'rs (Harriet Avenue, Benton Way, Waldon
Place, H 'In te rs Cour..;.), as long as it appears to be practical, at no

Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of the city council
of the City of Arden Hills
Ramsey county, Minnesota
. .Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 22nd day
7:30
of December, 1975, at ~~~ o'clock p. m.
The following members were present: Crepeau, Crlch~on,
Feyereisen, Wingert, Woodburn
and the following were absent: None
Councilman Wingert introduced and moved the adoption of
the following motion:
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve that portion of the City
of Arden Hills generally in the area bounded by Highway 1-694 on
the south, Highway 96 on the north, Lexington Avenue on the east
and Snelling Avenue on the west by the installation of watermain,
sanitary sewer main, storm drainage facilities, grading, bituminous

surfacing, concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances,
and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the
cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sees. 429.011

instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed,

advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should

The motion was duly secondea by Councilman Feyereisen and
upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor there-
of: All presentl and the following voted against the same: None I
whereupon said motion was declared duly passed and adopted.
