MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

PUrSuant to due cal I and notice thereof, Acting Mayor CrIchton
called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

Roll Call
Present - Acting Mayor Charles Crichton, Coune! Imen James Wingert,
Ward Hanson, Robert Woodburn
Absent - Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr.
Also Present - Shoreview's Mayor Olson and Councilmembers McGraw,
Wedel I and Weyandt, Ramsey County Commissioners Orth and
Salverda, Deane Anklan and Floyd Snyker of the Ramsey
County Engineer's office.
The purpose of the meeting WBS to discuss the proposed improvements
of Lexington Avenue between County Roads 0 and E as It affects the
residents of Shoreview and Arden Hi lis.
It was declared the objective of this meeting that only discussions
be held and no decisions made or votes taken. The County Engineers
requested tho opportunity to advise the CouncIl of the limited"
eiternativas available.
As a result of the information discussed, the two Councils determined
that a public information ffiGeting be schedulad January 24, 1977 at
7:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room F.lt Chippe~!a Junior High. At this
meeting the sarna data as expressed to the Councils will be discussed
with the residents. it was desired that the meeting be limited to
the residents immediately affected by the Improvements.
