Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen Charlie Crichton, Robert Woodburn. Also Present - Councilmen-elect Janet Hollenhorst and Diane MeAl lister, Treasurer DonaJd Lamb and Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNlesh. Oaths of Office - Councilmen Mayor Crepeau administered oaths of office for Counci I~en to Janet Hollenhorst and Diane MeAl lister. Resignation - Councilman Charlie Crichton Mayor Crepeau read the letter from Councilm~n Crichton (12/31/80) resigning his position as Councilman in order to be sworn In as Mayor. Resolution No. 81-1, Accepting Resignation and Declaring Vacancy as Counc i I man Woodburn moved, seconded by Crichton, that Council approve Reso- lution No. 81-I.ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT AND ACCEPTANCE Of RESIGNA- TION OF COUNCILMAN CHARLIE CRICHTON AND DECLARING THAT A VACANCY EXISTS AS COUNCILMAN. Motion carried unanimously. Oath of Office - Mayor Mayor Crepeau administered the oath of office for Mayor to Charlie Crichton. Resolution No. 61-2, Appointing Councilman to Fill Unexpired Term Mayor Crichton submitted the names of Ward Hanson, Maurice Johnson and Jeanne Winiecki for Counci I consideration as Councilman. Woodburn noted that the Vi Ilage would be well served by anyone of these, al I have outstanding qualifications and have served the Vi Ilage in various capacities. Council concurred. MeAl I ister moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Councl I approve Resolution No. 81-2, APPOINTING MAURICE JOHNSON AS COUNCJLMAN TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERI~ (UNTIL DECEMBER 31,1982). Motion carried unanimously. 1981 Appointments Mayor Crichton submitted list of 1981 Appointments for consultants, inspectors, Clerk Administrator, Deputy Clerk, etc. Woodburn moved, seconded by McAllister, that Counci I approve the appointments as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Crichton submitted list of 1981 appointments for Acting Mayor, Treasurer, Deputy Treasurer, Council liaison and Committee Chairmen. Woodburn moved, seconded by appointments as submitted. McAllister, that Counci I approve Motion carried unanimously. the Mayor Crichton submitted a list of 1981 Committee Appointments. In discussion. list was corrected as follows: Charlotte Swank should bo appointed to Newsletter Committee, Cal Maury to be regular Planning Commission member In lieu of 1st alternate, Michelle Pierce Is unabie to serve on PublIc Safety Committee In 1981. Hollenhorst moved, seconded appointments as corrected. favor, MeAl lister, Woodburn by Woodburn, that Councl I approve the Motion did not carry (Hollenhorst in and Crichton opposed). McAllister moved. seconded by Woodburn, that Councl I approve the appointments as corrected excluding the Newsletter Committee. Motion carried unanimously. Hollanhorst moved, seconded by McAllister, that Councl I approve RESOLUTION NO. 81-4, DESIGNATION OF ADDITIONAL DEPOSITORIES FOR INVESTMENT PURPOSES. ~otlon carried unanimously. Motion carried unanimously. 198i Salaries McAllister moved, seconded 1981 salaries as amended. by Hollenhorst, that Council approve Motion carried unanimously. Claims Hollenhorst moved, seconded by McAJ lister, that Council approve payment of $24,291.36 for January I~WCC charges and $150.00 reimburse- ment for December Town Crier postage.
