Lynden advised CouDcil that he has DO problem with either of the suggested changee. After diecuseion, Council concurred with the chenges .nd authorized Lynden to re.pond on behalf of the CouDci1. Trinity Lutheran Church - Parking Agreement HaneOD suggested that a written agreeaent be prepared between Trinity Lutheran Church aDd the City of Arden Hills for use of the church parking aree by Hazelnut Park patrons; noted that there is currently a verbal agreement only. Council discuesed briefly ways the City could compensate the church for use of the parking lot. Motiou carried (Wingert, Hanson, Crich ton, Crepeau voting in favor of the motion; Woodburn voting iu opposition. REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER DONALD LAMB Iavell tmen ts Dec. 23, 1980 - $125,000 @ 17.85% interest at Northwestern National Bank of St. Paul to mature on Feb. 23, 1981, and $200,000 @ 16% interest at Northwestern National Bank of St. Paul to mature on April 15, 198i. . Kotion carried unanimously. Kenna Addi Uon Council was referred to letter from Christoffersen (12-23-80) re Kenna Addition (Impr. SSW 80-2). Wingert moved to accept the Kenna Improvement project and to approve final payment in the amount of $10,435.00 (included in 11st of Clallm.) Kotion was seconded by Hanson and carried unani- mously. . Special Council Keeting Crichton moved, seconded by Hanson. that Council schedule a Special Council Keeting at KSI at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. January 13. 1981. witb members of tbe County Road E business community. Kotion carried unanimously. Discuaaion - 1981 Appointments Council and Council-elect discussed on a preliminary basis. 1981 appointments to the various committeea, consultants. inapectora etc. Health and Accident Insurance KcNiesh reported tbat the quote received from Guardian Life Insurance Co. for beal th and accident insurance was predicated on $15,000 of life insurance which will increase premiums by $10.18/ ..ployee Urom $148.71 to $158.18 for e.ployee. ~ith dependenta). After a brief discuasion of pOSsible options which could be con- sidered. KcNiesh was reques ted to look into other proposals for employee and Council consideration. Liability Insurance KcNiesh asked Council's preference of deductible options for: a) veb ic le comprehensive: $100.00 deductible @ $10:S6 or $250.00 deductible @ $1207 b) radio. contractors and parks equipment: $100.00 deductible or $250.00 deductible ($84.00 leu) c) 1 mil110n or 3 million umbrella. After discussion, Woodburn. moved seconded by Crichton, that Council authorize the $100.00 vehicle comprehensive deductible, $250.00 equipment deductible and the $3 lI111ion umbrella option.
