Crepeau, Jr. , Councilmen Charlie Crich ton, Ward Hanson, James Winge rt. Absent - Councilman Robe rt Woodburn . Also Present C Ie rk Administrator Charlotte McNiesh - 1980 City Election Following re view of the attached statement of results of the canvass of votes Cas t. at the November 4th election, Wingert mo ve d . seconded by Hanson to accept the election report on the canvass and declared Cha rlie Crichton elected Mayor for a two- year term. Jane t Ho llenhors t and Di an e McAllis ter elected Council membe rs for four-year terms. Motion carried un an imously. Mayor Crepeau congratulated Crichton, Hollenhors t and McAllister, wished a suc<;essful tenure of off i ce to all and presented the Certificates of Election. Northwes tern College Park Dedication Crichton moved.. seconded by Hanson, to accep t $5,000.00 as full sati"faction of the park dedication requirement in connection with the development of the Fine Arts Ce n te r at Northwestern Co lle ge . Payment shall consist of $2,000.00 prior to issuance of the Occupancy Permi t, $1,500.00 one year 1 ate r and $1.500 two years la te r. Motion carried unanimously. (All monies shall be placed in park Fund No. 801) . Adj ournment Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that the meeting adjourn at 5: 41 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. I MINUTES OF CITY ELECTION CITY OF ARDllN HILLS November 4, 1980 At the City Electio'l of the Ci ty of Arden Hills, Count,y of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, held at tht: City of Arden Hills, Precinct 1, Precinct 2, Precinct 3, Precinct 4 and Precinct 5 being the places it was directed to be held by the City Counci1.fl a f te r giving due not i ce the re of as provided by la."'i.Y , on the 4th day of N ovembe r, 1980, the Election 3oards, as attached, being qualified voters of said City to act as judges of such election, each of whom had before such t i ",e b e~n designated and appointed by the Ci ty Council to act as judges of such election, eac.h of whom duly took and sub- . scribed an oath to faithfull], discharge the du ties req ui red of them at such election; and the sai<j judges being duly qualified and trained forthwith opened the polls by proclamation, and the Election proceeded by ballot without adjournment or intermission un ti I closed. The subjects vo te d on at such election, as s tate d in the Notice, thereof, were: To Elect one Mayor for a te rm of two years. To Elect two Coun ci 1 men for te rms of four years. At 8:00 p.m. of said day the polls were closed. The judges then proceeded to publicly coun t and canvass the vo te s , and a true statement thereof was duly proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk Administrator who recorded the same in the City Minute Book.
