SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
JUNE 30, 2025
ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the Special City
Council meeting at 5:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor David Grant and Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Tena Monson,
Emily Rousseau and Kurt Weber
Absent: None
Also present: City Administrator Jessica Jagoe and Deputy Clerk Jen Estling
1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: Councilmember Monson moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a
motion to approve the meeting agenda. The motion carried (5-0).
2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL
None.
3. RESPONSE TO PUBLIC INQUIRIES
None.
4. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Motion to Approve Agreement with Metro West Inspection Services for On -Call
Building Official Services
MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Rousseau seconded a
motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize
execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried (5-

6. COUNCIL/STAFF COMMENTS
Councilmember Holden reported that the Lake Johanna Fire Department encountered
contaminated soil at the new fire station location and will provide an update once more is known.
Councilmember Weber asked if this was soil corrections or contamination.
City Administrator Jagoe stated that corrections were needed in order to get the soil suitable for
building construction.
Councilmember Weber indicated that the NSCC meeting was cancelled this month and the next
meeting would be in October. He noted Director Ongstad would send out an email update.

MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember Monson seconded a motion to
adjourn. The motion carried (5-0).
Mayor Grant adjourned the Special City Council Meeting at 5:03 p.m
