• July 21, 1994
8 : 00 am
Army Reserve Center
1 . The meeting was called to order at 8 : 00 a.m.
2 . Present were : Jerry Moehnke, Tom Goblirsch, Terry
Nagle, Rob Carlson JR, Community Planning Coordinator
Fritsinger, Planning Liaison McGraw, Finance Liaison
Steele, and Councilmember Aplikowski .
Absent were : Arnold Lindberg, Trygve Egge, Dan
McCallum, Steve Friemuth, and Mary Miller.
3 . Minutes
Moehnke moved seconded by Goblirsch to approve the June
Minutes .
Nagle moved seconded by Moehnke to approve the May 19 ,
1994 Minutes .
• 4 . Monthly Report
Mr. Fritsinger recapped his monthly activities for the
Committee . More specifically the Committee discussed
at length the future plans for T.C.A.A. P.
Mr. McGraw reviewed with the Committee his recent tour
of the T.C.A.A. P. site . He emphasized the importance
of moving forward as soon as possible on the planning
process .
The Committee discussed the type and costs of a plan
for T. C.A.A. P . It was agreed that the City should move
forward with a study now rather than later.
The Committee expressed some concerns about the cost of
such a plan and recommended that the City consider
methods of staging such a study.
5 . Marketing Packet
The Committee briefly discussed the preparation of an
Arden Hills marketing Packet . Staff indicated that
• this was a priority project for staff because of its

importance to responding to inquiries .
The Committee agreed that it would begin working on the
marketing packet at its next meeting, and staff should
bring samples of other communities ' materials .
6 . Miscellaneous
Mr. Moehnke suggested that the Committee work on an
agenda to promote the local businesses . This would
include better promotions information or welcome wagon
type of data. This should be discussed more in depth
as the Committee prepares and worked on the community
marketing packet .
Staff will attempt to secure a more detailed break down
on retail/wholesale industrial sales in Arden Hills .
7 . The meeting was adjourned at 9 :35 a.m.
