The meeting was called to order by Jim Ostlund at 6:00 pm.

A. Budgeting and Fund Accounting Training•
Sue Iverson presented the basics of Governmental Accounting and Budgeting to the committee
and council members in attendance.
4. REPORTS
A. Reports from the City Council
The City Council reported that the new Mc Donald's will be reopening next week.Also that Pres.
Homes will hold a ground breaking ceremony the first week in October.They also noted that
AeroTek staffing will be locating its regional head quarters in Arden Hills.

SUBJECT: Meeting agenda
Planning Session for Future Meetings
The next meeting will be a brainstorming session on new projects for the committee to work on
and complete. One project that the committee could look at is the "in lieu of taxes" from the
exempt properties/non-profits.
