AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO SECTION 6.C.2.d. RELATING TO COVERED
FRONT PORCHES AS PERMITTED ENCROACHMENTS FOR SINGLE-FAMILY
DETACHED DWELLINGS
On the 24th day of April, 2006, the Arden Hills City Council adopted Ordinance #376,
and by five affirmative votes pursuant to Minn. Stat. !j412.l91, Subd. 4, directed that a summary
of the Ordinance be published.
The Ordinance amendment permits covered front porches to encroach on the front yard
setback in the R-l: Single Family Residential and R-2: Single & Two Family Residential
Districts subject to certain conditions and design guidelines.
The adoption of Arden Hills Ordinance #376 will become effective the day following
publication of the Ordinance Summary.

hours at the ofJice of the City Administrator, 1425 Highway 96, Arden Hills, Minnesota 55112.
