ORDINANCE NO. 344
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
Chapter 5 - ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
SECTIONS 510.03, Subd. 1 and 2; 510.04; and 510.05
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
510.03 Hours of Sale. The honrs of sale for licensed intoxicating liquor establishments are
restricted as follows:
. Subd. IOn-Sale Hours. No sale of intoxicating liquor may be made by an on-sale
licensee:
A. Between 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Monday through Saturday; or
B. After 2:00 a.m. on Sunday unless the licensee has also been issued a
Sunday on-sale liquor license.
Subd. 2 Sunday Sale Hours. A licensee which has been issued a Sunday on-sale
liquor license may sell intoxicating liquor for consumption on the premises in
conjunction with the sale of food between 12:00 noon on Sunday and 2:00 a.m. on
Monday.
510.04 Hours of Consumption. No person, including the licensee and his or her agents and
employees, shall consume intoxicating liquor on the licensed premises after the hour of 2:15
. a.m.

510.05 Hours of Operation. No person, other than the licensee and his or her agents and
. employees, shall remain on the licensed premises after the hour of 2:15 a.m. With respect to
any "on-sale" licensee, no intoxicating liquor shall be displayed by such licensee after 2:00
a.m., the hour after which the sale of intoxicating liquor is prohibited by M.S. Ch. 340A,
specifically M.S.~ 340A.504, as amended from time to time.
Effective Date:
This ordinance shall become effective the day following its publication.
Adoption Date:
Passed by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills this 28th day of July, 2003.
