Minutes of Special Council Meeting
Village of Arden Hills
Saturday, October 4, 1986

Call to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Woodburn called the meeting to
order at 8:35 a.m.
Roll Call
Present: Mayor Robert Woodburn, Councilmembers Nancy Hansen, Dale Hicks
Absent: Councilmembers Gary Peck and Thomas Sather
. Also Present: Shoreview Mayor Dick Wedell and Councilmembers David McGraw,
Richard Sundberg and Robert Weyandt, Shoreview Finance Director
Bill Stawarski, and Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNiesh
In the review of the draft of the Joint Powers Agreement, South Fire Station,
it was agreed that the following changes be made by Attorney Filla:
Add a section creating, defining composition and responsibilities of the
Advisory Committee.
Add a section on time frame for completion of the project.
Add a section covering other start up costs exclusive of general operating
costs.
Change first sentence under Equipment to read "The acquiring authority
shall cause the preparation of an inventory.... "
Add a provision under Sale of Assets Upon Termination in the event neither
city wishes to acquire station.
Additional Data for Sites Under Consideration
Stawarski was directed to arrange for soil borings at the Schoonover site under
consideration.
McNiesh was directed to have Planner Miller check feasibility of station
location to the rear of the Colestock property.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
