Pursuant to due call and notIce thereof Mayor Woodburn called the meetIng
to order at 5:30 p.m.

Also Present - Treasurer Donald Lamb, Clerk Administrator CharlottaMcNlesh
1984 Village Appointments
Council reviewed the list of appointments submitted by the Mayor, adding
Dale Hicks as ActIng Mayor. Woodburn said he proposes that convnlttee
liaison appointments and appointments for representatives and alternates
to various boards remain the same as In 1983 until the vacancy on the
CouncIl Is filled. The appointment of the Village Engineer as represent-
lltlve on the RIce Creek Watershed District Technical Advisory Committee
was added to the appointments. Hicks moved seconded by Mulcahy that
Councl I ratify the appointments. Motion carried unanimously.
Oaths of Off I ce
Mayor Woodburn administered the oaths of office to Treasurer Donald Lamb
and Clerk Administrator Charlotte McNlesh.

Hicks moved, seconded by Christiansen that Council approve ResolutIon
No. 84-1, DESIGNATION OF DEPOSITORIES AND CORPORATE AUTHORIZATION RESOLUTION,
No. 84-2, DESIGNATION OF ADDITIONAL DEPOSITORIES FOR INVESTMENT PURPOSES,
No. 84-3, DESIGNATING BROKERAGE FIRMS FOR INVESTMENT IN FEDERAL GOVERfII>1ENT
INSTRUMENTS, and No.84-4,'~NSFER OF FUNDS BY TELEPHONIC INSTRUCTIONS.
Motion carried unanimously; ." '
1984 Salaries
Christiansen moved, seconded by Mulcahy that the 1984 salaries be approved
as listed. Motion carried unanimously.
1984 Convnlttee Appointments
Hicks moved, seconded by Christiansen that Council approve committee
,llppolntments as amended. Motion carried \lnllnlmously.
Interest Rate on 1983 Temporary Transfe,rs '. . '.'
Council reviewed McNlesh's memo'of 12/29/83;' Christiansen moved, $8conde~
by Hicks that Council approve an interest rate of 9,.5%. Motion carried
unanimously.
Claims
Christiansen moved, seconded by Hicks that Council approve three claIms
totalling $28,690.06 and the transfer check for $65,000. Motion carried
unanimously.

Hicks moved, seconded by Mulcahy that the meeting be adjourned at 6:22 p.m,
Motion carried unanimously.
