'tt <br /> -AREN HILLS <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2025-078 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 96-08 ENABLING THE ESTABLISHMENT <br /> OF AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> WHEREAS,on January 29, 1996,the City Council adopted Resolution No. 96-08 establishing <br /> the "Economic Development Authority of the City Arden Hills" (Authority) with five members, all of <br /> which are members of the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Resolution No. 96-08 as set forth herein <br /> regarding Authority membership and terms of appointment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has caused notice of a public hearing, pursuant to Minn. Stat. §469.093, <br /> subd. 2, to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City once each week for two <br /> consecutive weeks, and pursuant to the notice, the City Council held a public hearing on December 8, <br /> 2025, at which time all persons desiring to present this comments on this resolution were afforded an <br /> opportunity to do so. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills: <br /> 1. Section 2 of Resolution No. 96-08 shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> a. The Authority shall be governed by a board of seven(7) commissioners. Five(5)of the <br /> commissioners shall be the members of the City Council, which terms shall coincide <br /> with their term of office as members of the Council. The two (2) remaining members <br /> shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council from the <br /> membership of the Economic Development Commission for six-year terms,which shall <br /> coincide with their terms on the Economic Development Commission. <br /> 2.
