RESOLUTION NO. 2025-078
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
RAMSEY COUNTY
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 96-08 ENABLING THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS,on January 29, 1996,the City Council adopted Resolution No. 96-08 establishing
the "Economic Development Authority of the City Arden Hills" (Authority) with five members, all of
which are members of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Resolution No. 96-08 as set forth herein
regarding Authority membership and terms of appointment; and
WHEREAS, the City has caused notice of a public hearing, pursuant to Minn. Stat. §469.093,
subd. 2, to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City once each week for two
consecutive weeks, and pursuant to the notice, the City Council held a public hearing on December 8,
2025, at which time all persons desiring to present this comments on this resolution were afforded an
opportunity to do so.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills:
1. Section 2 of Resolution No. 96-08 shall be amended to read as follows:
a. The Authority shall be governed by a board of seven(7) commissioners. Five(5)of the
commissioners shall be the members of the City Council, which terms shall coincide
with their term of office as members of the Council. The two (2) remaining members
shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council from the
membership of the Economic Development Commission for six-year terms,which shall
coincide with their terms on the Economic Development Commission.
2. Resolution No. 96-08 shall remain in full force and effect except to the extent the terms are
inconsistent with this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8t'' day of December, 2025, by the City Council of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota.
