Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of the City Council
of the City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 13th day
of December, 1976, at 7:30 o'clock p. m.
The following members were present: Councilmen Crichton,
Hanson, Wingert and Woodburnl and the following were absent:
Mayor Crepeau.
Councilman crichton. introduced and moved the adoption of
the following resolution:

RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION
OF A REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT NO. 76-1(A)
AND RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. 76-1
WHEREAS on July 19. 1976 the Council adoption Resolution
No. 76-36 ordering preparation of a feasibility report on
Improvement NO. 76-1 to provide sanitary sewer and watermain
to an area north and east of Karth Lake to the city limitsl and
WHEREAS it is now proposed to improve an additional portion
of the city of Arden Hills adjacent to the area contemplated,
and generally to cover the following described area: all undeveloped
land around Karth Lake in the Northeast Quarter of Section 22,

Town 30, Range 23 by the installation of sanitary sewer, water-
main, bituminous su~facing, concrete curb and gutter and drainage
facilities, and to assess the benefited property for all or a
portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
statutes Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Minn. statutes 1961).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA:
1. That the proposed enlarged improvement be referred to the
City Consulting Engineers for study and that they are instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising
the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improve-
ment is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as pro-
posed or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. That the area proposed to be improved in Improvement No.
76-1 also be studied to include bituminous surfacing and concrete
curb and gutter, drainage facilities and additional sewer and water
extensions, and that the engineer advise the Council in a preliminary
way whether Improvement No. 76-1 is feasible and best be made as
proposed or in connection with proposed Improvement No. 76-l(A)
and the estimated cost thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Hanson and upon vote being taken thereon

Hanson and Woodburn (Councilman Wingert having left earlier)f
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, be~ng the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota,
do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the
City Council of said city held on the 13th day of December, 1976,
with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same
is a full, true and complete transcript insofar as the same
relates to Improvement NO. 76-1 and Improvement No. 76-1(A).
