HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-057 . . , Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills Ramsey County, Minnesota speeial Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regMiar meeting of the city Council of the city of Arden Bills, Minnesota was Thursday duly held at the City Ball in said city on M~~&a~, the 4th day 5: 30 of NovAmbAr , 1976, at lziQ o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Crepeau, Woodburn, Winge rt and the following were absent: Crlehton Councilman Winaert introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: 57 Resolution No. 76~ RESOLUTION A~RDING BID FOR LITTLE CROW ADDITION IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above improvement, accc~ding to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Clerk Administrator of said city, said bids were received on October 12, 1976, at 2:00 o'clock p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received compl:ying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount J. & T. Contracting 825 N. Concord Street South St. Paul, Mn 55075 $ 19 , 822 . 40 F. Morettini Construction Co. 852 Westminster Street St. Paul, Mn 55101 18,615.00 DeLuxe Construction, Ine. 527 Emi I Ave. Shorevlew, Mn 55112 20,488.00 , WHEREAS, it appears that F. Morettini Construction Co. of 852 Westminster street, St. Paul is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $ 18,615.00 . . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Arden Bills, Minnesota: L The Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with F. Morettini for $ 1 8,6 I 5 .00 Construction Co. in the name of the city of Arden Bills for the above improve- ment according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the city Council and on file in the office of the city Clerk Administrator. 2. The City Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. The motion waR seconded by Councilman Woodb u rn and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Crepeau, Wingert, Woodburn and the following voted against: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. . ~ ~CfU ~~~
