P-SS-W-ST-75-1 (Hamline Avenue) WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisanent for bids for the above improvement, according to tLe plans Clnd specifications thereof on file in the office 0: the Clerk Administrator of said city, said bids were received on August 13, 1976, at 2:00 o'clock p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount B-T-Mix Company $11,643.60 13,330.60 Bituminous Roadways, Inc. Hardrives, Inc. 13,273.00 . T.A. Schlfsky & Sons, Inc. Total Asphalt Construction Company 15,084.50 II ,942 ,50 WHEREAS, it appea~s that B-Tu-Mlx Company of 7280 Dickman Trail E.. Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $ 11.643.60 . . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of Arden Hills, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby autho~ized and directed to enter into a contract with B-Tu-Mlx Comoanv for $ 11,643.60 in the name of the City of Arden Hills for the above tmprove- ment according to the plans end specifications thereof hereto- fore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the city Clerk Administrator. 2. The City Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the daposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. The motion was seconded by Councilman Woodb u rn and upon vote being taken thereon. the following voted in favor thereof: Crepeau, Crichton, Wingert, Woodburn and ths following voted against: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 11ttzd. . ~?lPPILL ~~~ .
