RESOLUTION NO. 76-33
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT FOR INDIAN OAKS 2 ADDITION IMPROVEMENT
.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, that the proposed assessment roll for Indian Oaks 2
Addition Improvement now on file and open to public inspection in
the office of the City Clerk Administrator, is approved, and the
Clerk Administrator is directed to publish and mail notice that
the Council will meet to consider the proposed assessment on
August 23 , 1976, at the City Hall in the City of Arden
Hills, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The notice shall state the date,
time and place of the meeting, the general nature of said improve-
ment, the area proposed to be assessed, that the proposed assess-
ment roll is on file with the Clerk Administrator, and that
written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be
considered. It shall be published in the official newspaper of
the City at least once, and shall be mailed to the owner of each
parcel described in the assessment roll, not less than two weeks
prior to the date of said meeting. For the purpose of such
mailed notice, owners of said parcels shall be those shown as
such on the records of the County Treasurer. Every property owner
whose name does not appear on such records (other than owners of
property which is tax exempt or is taxed on a gross earnings
basis) shall be deemed to have waived such mailed notice unless
he has requested in writing that the County Treasurer include
his name on the records for this purpose.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Crt chton
and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Crepeau,
Crichton, Wingert, Woodburn; Feyerelsen abstained;
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
