RESOLUTION APPROVING 1976 FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE
ACREEHENT AND ~.UTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Lake .Job,mna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc 0 haa in
the past provided volunteer Iixe protecdoil services for the CUy of Arden
HUh: and has the capability to continue the performance of such services
in the future, and
WHEREAS, the present Agreement between Lake Johanna Volunteer
Fire Department, Inc. <lnd th,. City of AIden Hills expires at 12:00 o'clock
midnight on December 31, 1915, and
WHEREAS, the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. has
submitted to the Council of the City of Arden Hills, for its approval, a
Fire Protection Serol1ce Agreement for the calendar year. of 1976, and
WHEREAS, the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fi,re Department. Inc. has
indicated its willingness to comply with the following:
1. Submit quarterly expense statements to the Cities
2. Submit future plans for building expansion for approval by
Cities prior to expenditures
3. Submit annual statement of Firemen's Benefit Association Fund
4. Placement of equipment expansion, "eplacement Imd depreciation
monies in a separate fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Arden Hills that the Fire Protection Ser/tee Agreement by and between the
the City of Arden Hills and the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.,
dated and to be effective as of the 1st day of January, 1976, be and it hereby
is approved in all respects, and the V~yor and Clerk Ad~inistrator be and they
hereby are authorized end directed to execute the same on behalf of the City
'of Arden Hills.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk Administrator be and she
hereby is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department. Inc.
