RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAN AND AUTHORIZING
RAMSEY COUNTY TO IMPLEMENT INSTALLATION
OF AN ARCHERY RANGE AT MARSDEN LAKE SITE
WHEREAS, Ramsey County Is required by Chapter 950,1971
Laws of Minnesota to have open space development plans approved
by the municipality In Which the particular site to be improved
i s toe a -re d. and
WHEREAS, cn August 13, 1974, Ramsey County received fee
1itle from the federal government to 8.01 acres referred to as
"Pal.cel C", a si'rs located in Arden Hills, on the west side of
Lexington Avenue, approximately I k mi les north of State Highway
96, an d
WHEREAS, one of the primary requirements for conveyance
of a Government Surp I us Parce I Is .rhat Ramsey County must make
the si-re availabl.e, as s60n as possible, to the gener.al public
for recreational purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, tha'r the Arden Hi lIs
City COLlncil approves Ramsey County's plan -r.or development of
IlParcel (11 oS an arcllery range, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Ramsey County is hereby
authorized to implement installation and construction as detailed
in ~1r. B. Edmond's letter of. Februar'y 21, 1975.
