RESOLUTION NO. 06-41
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED, AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OJ. PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
WHEREAS, a contract has bcen let and costs have been determined tor the City of
Arden Hills 2006 Pavement Management Program improvement of Siems Court between
Lake Johanna Boulevard and the cuI de sac of Siems Court, Arden Place between Siems
Court and Snelling Avenue, Ridgewood Road between Lake Johanna Boulevard and Arden
Place, Skiles Lane between Arden Place and Snelling A venue, for the reconstruction of the
street by the installation of asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, utility
repair, landscaping and necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is $1,689,894,16, and the
expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $397,800
so that the total cost of the improvement will be 2,087,694,16,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council as follows:
I, The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be
$1,478, 118A I and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is
declared to be $609,575.76.
2_ The City Administrator, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall t(lrthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed tor such improvement against every assessable
lot, piece or parcel ofland within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for
public inspection,
3, The City Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the
council thereof.
