RESOLUTION NO. 06-46
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY FUNDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND
IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INFLOW AND INFILTRATION REDUCTION
PROGRAM IN 2007
WHEREAS, the City has been identified by the Metropolitan Council as a
community with excess inf10w and infiltration flow into the sanitary sewer system and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has adopted an Inflow and Infiltration
Surcharge Program to reduce the impact of inflow and infiltration on wastewater capacity
and to insure that the wastewater capacity of the system is available for future development
and,
WHEREAS, the preliminary surcharge amount for the City is $100,100 for 2007,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Council do hereby
authorize spending $100,100 from the Sanitary Sewer Enterprise Fund in 2007 to develop
and implement a program to reduce inflow and infiltration in the City,
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
THIS 11th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2006.
