RESOLUTION NO. 05-36
A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE 2005 SEAL COAT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, The City of Arden Hills authorized thc prcparation of detailed plans and
specifications addressing the necessary requirements of the 2005 Seal Coat Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared specifications for the 2005 Seal Coat
Program Plan in the Edgewater Neighborhood, Ingerson & Hamline Neighborhood and Karth
Lake Neighborhood.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility
report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered.
3. Plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer for such improvement pursuant to
Council resolution are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
4. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans
and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 3 weeks, shall specify the
work to be done, shall state that bids will be considered by the Council at its regular
meeting June, 13"',2005, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the Clerk for 10 percent (10%) of
the amount of each bid.
ADOPTED by the Council this 9'" day of May, 2005.
