RESOLUTION NO. 05-57
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills hereby declares that a state of emergency exists due to the
damage caused by a severe thunderstorm.
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills was impacted by a severe storm that struck the City on
September 21" at approximately 7:00 PM. The damage is the result of a severe thunderstorm that
brought high winds, rain, and hail to the City.
WHEREAS, this storm has caused the City of Arden Hills to take protective measures in
beginning the process of debris removal and repairs to the City's infrastructure system.
IT IS RESOLVED that the City of Arden Hills has declared a state of emergency. The state of
emergency shall become effective on September 23'" and shall continue until the Mayor declares
that the emergency situation has ended.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that Beverly Aplikowski, the Mayor of Arden Hills is
authorized to execute the Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
IDLLS, MINNESOTA, that the City of Arden Hills hereby declares a stale of emergency exists
in the City of Arden Hills due to the severe storms that impacted the City on September 2t, 2005.
ADOPTED by the Council this 26th day of September, 2005.
