<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 04-30 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING CONTINUATION OF THE METROPOLITAN RADIO <br />BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Radio Board (MRB) was authorized by the 1995 <br />Minnesota Legislature to plan, develop and implement a region-wide public safety radio <br />communications system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the MRB is composed oflocal government elected and appointed officials <br />as well as Metropolitan Council members who recognize the high level of cooperation needed <br />among all users to ensure the system's success and the importance oflocal input and governance; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the MRB is achieving its legislative charge and working to provide training, <br />update the system, obtain federal funding and attract new members from within and outside the <br />regIOn. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden <br />Hills, Minnesota, that the City supports the continued local governance and input into the <br />metropolitan public safety communications system through the MRB and supports legislation to <br />continue the Metropolitan Radio Board. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS <br />29th DAY OF MARCH, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />\\Earth\Ad111in\Council\Resolutions\2004\04-30 ,Supporting the Continuation of the Metropolitan Radio Board.doc <br />
