RESOLUTION NO. 04-56
REQUESTING MNIDOT CONSIDERATION OF A COST SHARING COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENT FOR PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS TO COUNTY ROAD E
BRIDGE OVER TRUNK HIGHWAY 51
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills proposes to make pedestrian improvements to the
County Road E bridge over TH 51 in Arden Hills; and
AND, WHEREAS, the improvement will benefit both the City of Arden Hills and the
Minnesota Department of Transportation; and
AND, WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is requesting financial participation in the project
from the Minnesota Department of Transportation through the Municipal Agreement program; and
AND, WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is committed to providing the local share of the
costs if the project is selected as part of the FY2006 Municipal Agreement Program; and
AND, WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is committed to completing the project ifselected
and funding is provided as part ofthe FY2006 Municipal Agreement Program.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, MINNESOTA: that the City of Arden Hills is requesting funding from the Minnesota
Department of Transportation for the pedestrian improvements to the County Road E bridge over TII
51 and is committed to completing such project and providing local share of funding.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council hereby selects Bridge Option 1, as outlined in the
Engineer's memorandum dated October 7,2004, as the scope ofthe pedestrian improvement to the
County Road E bridge over TH 51.
ADOPTED by the Council this l2'h day of October, 2004.
