Resolution 03-65
A Resolution Approviug a Joint Agreement for the Financing, Operations and Use of the
Ramsey County Publie Works/Partners Facility
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has an identified need for a new operations and
maintenance facility; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County is currently constructing a maintenance facility on a
portion of the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant property; and
WHEREAS, both the City of Arden Hills and the Mounds View School District have
indicated an interest in partuering with Ramsey County to collocate similar facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council convened the Maintenance Facility Taskforce to evaluate
the possibility of a joint partnership with the Ramsey County; and

WHEREAS, after reviewing all pertinent infonnation, the Maintenance Facility
Taskforce unanimously recommended "that Council proceed with partnering with Ramsey
County on the matter of a joint public works facility as an equity partner with the plans as
currently drafted;" and
WHEREAS, on June 30th, 2003, the Arden Hills City Council adopted Resolution No.
03-50, a resolution approving participation in the Ramsey County Joint Maintenance Facility; ;
and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF
ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA" authorizes execution of the agreement attached as Exhibit A,
entitled "A Joint Agreement for the Financing, Operations, and Use of the Ramsey County
Public Works / Partners Facility. "
ADOPTED by the Council this 10th day of November, 2003.
