RESOLUTION NO. 02-15
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ADEQUACY OF THE
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET FOR THE
GATEWAY BUSINESS CENTER AT THE INTERSECTION OF
I-35W AND 1-694
WHEREAS, the Chesapeake Companies propose to develop a 225,000 sq. ft. to 495,000 sq. ft.
office building at the northeast quadrant ofl-35W and 1-694; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EA W) has been prepared for said
proj ect, and
WHEREAS, the EA W was completed and sent to all the required agencies on the
Environmental Quality Board's distribution list on January 10,2002, and
WHEREAS, the reviewing agencies have had the required 30 days to review the EA W, and
WHEREAS, responses have been received from the Minnesota Department of Transportation,
. The Army Corps of Engineers, and the Metropolitan Council, and
WHEREAS, none of those agencies have made comments that find the EA W inadequate or
that would require an Environmental Impact Statement, and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is the Responsible Governmental Unit (RGU) to review
and make findings of adequacy concerning the EA W.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Arden Hills that it finds the Gateway
Business Center EA W is adequate and that no Environmental Impact Statement is needed for this
proj ect.
