C75ears <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2026-024 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING <br /> THE ARDEN HILLS PARK SYSTEM PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has undertaken a comprehensive planning process to <br /> evaluate and guide the development, improvement, and maintenance of its parks, trails, and <br /> recreational facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Park System Plan was developed with input from the Parks, Trails, and <br /> Recreation Committee, a Park System Plan Steering Committee, City staff, and the public; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City retained a professional planning consultant to assist in the development <br /> of the Park System Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the planning process included extensive community engagement to gather input <br /> from residents through a variety of outreach methods; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the draft Park System Plan at a City Council Work <br /> Session on December 8, 2025, to provide feedback and direction; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Park System Plan identifies existing park assets, service levels, community <br /> needs, and future priorities for parks, trails, and recreational amenities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Plan includes recommendations related to capital improvements, <br /> maintenance, accessibility, and long-term system planning; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Park System Plan is intended to guide decision-making, budgeting, and <br /> capital improvement planning for the City's park system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Park System Plan at their Regular meeting on <br /> April 13, 2026, and finds that adoption of the Plan is in the best interest of the community; and <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
