RESOLUTION 01-07
A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
PROPOSAL (S.P. 6284-130) TO CONSTRUCT A NOISE WALL
ON THE EAST SIDE OF I-35W FROM
C.S.A.H. 96 NORTH TO RAILROAD OVERPASS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills has received a report from the
Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) related to the proposed 2001 construction of
a noise wall along the east side ofI-35W from C,S,A,H. 96 north to the railroad overpass; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the Arden Manor Mobile Home Park have indicated support for the
project and informed park residents of the proposed construction project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills has been advised of design options and
related cost implications;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arden Hills
requests the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) that:
I, The noise wall will be constructed with uncolored concrete posts and wooden planks.
Plank panels will have decorative trim design and offset between posts at no
additional cost to the City of Arden Hills,
2. Concrete posts will have decorative endcaps at an additional cost to the City of Arden
Hills of $50,00 per concrete post,
3, Post and planks will be stained the same dark brown color.

CERTIFICATION
RESOLUTION NO. 01-7
The undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting City Administrator of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, hereby certifies the following:
The foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution on file and of official, publicly
available record in the office of the City. Said resolution was duly adopted by the City
Council at a regular meeting of the Council held on February 26, 2001 , Said meeting
was duly called, regularly held, open to the public, and held at the place at which
meetings of the Council are regularly held. Councilmember Grant moved the
adoption of the resolution, which motion was seconded by Councilmember Aplikowski;
whereupon majority vote, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
