RESOLUTION NO. 01-10
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A TIME LIMIT FOR ALL CITY MEETINGS
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arden Hills wants to conduct all City meetings with efficiency
and effectiveness; and
WHEREAS, the Council wants to balance the City Council needs for public input with the need
for making decisions and moving ahead with projects, programs and services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wants to extend the idea of conducting effective, efficient and
decisive meetings for all advisory, ad hoc and task force groups currently functioning, or those so
named in the future;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that:
All City meetings that begin at 7:30 p.m., will end by 10:00 p.m., unless a motion is
made and seconded, and approved by majority present, to extend thc meeting for a certain
period oftime, or until a time certain.
