RESOLUTION NO. 00-22
RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF
DESIGNATION OF AND RELOCATION OF ELECTION PRECINCT NO.4
FOR THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
WHEREAS, the Department of Defense (000:) has informed the City of Arden Hills that the
Army Reserve Center (ARC) is no longer available for use as an election precinct for the City's
2000 Primary and General Elections; and
WHEREAS, the Primary Election is Tuesday, September 12,2000; and the General Election is
Tuesday, November 7, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has contacted the North Heights Lutheran Church, 1700
West Highway 96 for use of their facilities as a polling place, and Church officials have agreed
to the City's use of the facility for September 12, 2000 and November 7, 2000;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota that:
The North Heights Lutheran Church, 1700 West Highway 96, is hereby designated to
serve those residents residing within the boundaries of Precinct No.4 as a polling place,
replacing the former polling place located at the Army Reserve Center, 4655 North
Lexington,
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
THIS 30th DAY OF MAY, 2000.
