RSOLUTION NO. 00-23
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MINNESOT A DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT A SPEED STUDY ON OLD HIGHWAY
10/SNELLING AVENUE BETWEEN RAMSEY COUNTY HIGHWAY 96 AND
MINNESOTA STATE HIGHWAY 51
WHEREAS, increasing traffic numbers and speed complaints have been realized on Old
Highway 10/Snelling Avenue, between Ramsey County Highway 96 and Minnesota State
Highway 51; and
WHEREAS, current speed limits on this roadway do change frequently; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arden Hills seeks a consistent speed limit throughout this
roadway, which is deemed safe and proper by the Milll1esota Department of Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, that the Minnesota Department of Transportation is hereby
requested to conduct a speed study on Old Highway1 O/Snelling A venue between Ramsey
County Highway 96 and Milll1esota State Highway 51 for the purpose of finding and
recommending a uniform, safe, and proper speed limit for such roadway.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
THIS 26TH DAY JUNE, 2000.

The undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting City Administrator of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, hereby certifies the following:
The foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution on file and of official, publicly
available record in the office ofthe City. Said resolution was duly adopted by the City
Council at a regular meeting of the Council held on June 26 ,2000. Said meeting was
duly called, regularly held, open to the public, and held at the place at which meetings of
the Council are regularly held. Councilmember Larson moved the adoption of the
resolution, which motion was seconded by Councilmember Grant ; whereupon majority
vote, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
