RESOLUTION NO. 00-37
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
A TAX RATE INCREASE FOR THE 2000 TAX LEVY, PAYABLE IN 2001
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, that the County
Auditor is authorized to fix a property tax rate for taxes payable in the year 2001 that is higher
than the tax rate calculated pursuant to Minnesota Statutes S 275.078 for the City of Arden Hills
for taxes levied in 1999, collectible in 2000.
Adoption of this resolution does not prohibit the City from certifYing a final levy that will result
in no tax rate increase or a tax rate decrease.
The City Administrator is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the
County Auditor of Ramsey County, Minnesota.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
THIS 30th DAY OF OCTOBER, 2000.

The undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting City Administrator of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, hereby certifies the following:
The foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution on file and of official, publicly
available record in the office of the City. Said resolution was duly adopted by the City
Council at a regular meeting of the Council held on October 30. 2000 . Said meeting
was duly called, regularly held, open to the public, and held at the place at which
meetings of the Council are regularly held. Councilmember Grant moved the
adoption of the resolution, which motion was seconded by Counciimember Aplikowski;
whereupon majority vote, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
