Special City Council Meeting – 10:30 a.m.

Council Should Consider
Motions to approve, table, or deny the following:
• The hiring of Nicholas Solberg to the position of Finance Director at Grade 21 Step 1, and at
Year 0 on the PTO scale (6 hours per pay period) with a starting bank of 24 hours of PTO, all
other normal City benefits apply. Council approval and final employment offer is contingent
upon a satisfactory background check.
Discussion
Following a recruitment process, Nicholas Solberg has been selected for Council consideration. He
comes with finance experience at the Cities of Isanti and North Branch, as well as experience in the
private sector.
Budget Impact
This role is currently budgeted for and this hiring will not adversely affect the budget.
