RESOLUTION CERTIFYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
INSTALLMENT TO RAMSEY COUNTY FOR COLLECTION
WITH TAXES
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden Hills
that the following sums be, and hereby are, levied upon the
listed taxable property in the City of Arden Hills, County of
Ramsey, State of Minnesota, for the year 1984, payable in 1985,
as Special Assessments for collection of the 1984 installment
of municipal water connection assessment to the following
described properties:

RESOLUTION APPROVING APPRAISAL VALUE OF
CITY'S TAKING OF PERMANENT ROADWAY AND
UTILITY EASEMENT AND TEMPORARY SLOPE EASEMENT
FROM GEORGE J. REILING
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills (the "City") commissioned
Davis & Lagerman, Inc. ("Davis") to render an appraisal report as
to the amount of damages which will be sustained by George J.
Reiling as a result of the City's taking from him of a permanent
roadway and utility easement and temporary slope easement over
and across the South 80 feet of the East 816 feet of the tract of
land which he owns (the "Reiling Tract") in the City that is
bounded by State Trunk Highway 96 on the north, Townhouse
Villages at Arden Hills on the east, the proposed Royal Hills
North Subdivision and the McClung Additions on the south, and
Snelling Avenue North on the west, and
WHEREAS, Davis has performed its appraisal and has issued
its report (the "Davis Appraisal Report"), dated August 28, 1984,
which determines that the damages which will be sustained by the
Reiling Tract as a result of the taking will be $11,000.00, and
WHEREAS, Section 117.042 of Minnesota Statutes, as
amended, provides that before the City may take title and
possession of the permanent roadway and utility easement and the
temporary slope easement, it must deposit with the Ramsey County
District Court an amount equal to the City's "approved appraisal
of value", and
WHEREAS, the City desires to take title and possession of
the easements in accordance with the requirements of Section
117.042 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
~he City, acting by unanimous vote of its members, hereby adopts
the Davis Appraisal Report, which estimates the value of damages
to be sustained by the Reiling Tract as a result of the condemna-
tion to be $11,000.00, as the City's approved appraisal of value.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Administrator of
the City is authorized and directed to furnish certified copies

District Court.
