EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF
CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Held: August 20, 1984
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council
of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, met in regular session at
the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 20th day of August,
1984, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.

The following councilmembers were present: Mayor Woodburn and
Councilmembers Rauenhorst, Hicks, and Mulcahy;
and the following were absent: None
Councilmember Hicks introduced and moved the adoption of the
following resolution:
Resolution No. 84-26(b)
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT
FOR BIDS ON CONSOLIDATED
IMPROVEMENTS NO. SS-W-P-ST-84-1 AND SS-W-p-ST-84-3
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the City Council on
July 30, 1984 and August 20, 1984, the City Consulting Engineers
have prepared plans and specifications for Consolidated
Improvements No. SS-W-P-ST-84-1 and SS-W-P-ST-84-3 and have pre-
sented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, as follows:

Such plans and specifications, copies of which are
attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.

2. The City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause to
be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper, and
in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the
making of such approved plans and specifications. The adver-
tisement for Consolidated Improvements No. SS-W-p-ST-84-1 and
SS-W-P-ST-84-3 shall be published as required by law, shall spe-
cify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the basis of a
cash payment for such work, shall state the bids will be received
by the City Clerk Administrator until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on
Thursday, September 20, 1984, at which time they will be publicly
opened in the City Hall by the City Clerk Administrator and City
Consulting Engi.neer, will then be tabulated, and will sub-
sequently be considered by the Council, and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk Administrator
and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond
payable to the Clerk Administrator for ten percent (10%) of the
amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilmember Rauenhorst and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All present; and
the following voted against: None; whereupon said resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills of Ramsey County,
Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the
attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of
the City Council of said City held on the 20th day of August,
1984, with the original thereof on file in my office, and the
same is a full, true and complete transcript insofar as the same
relates to Consolidated Improvements No. SS-W-P-ST-84-1 and
SS-W-P-ST-84-3.
