EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF
CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AUGUST 20, 1984
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was held
at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 20th day of
August, 1984 at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and
Councilmembers Rauenhorst, Hicks and Mulcahy; and the following
were absent: None.
Councilmember Rauenhorst introduced and moved the adoption
of the following resolution:
Resolution No. 84-24
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR
IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-84-2
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above
improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on
file in the office of the Clerk Administrator of said City, said
bids were received on August 9, 1984 at 2:00 o'clock a.m.,
opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS it appears that Sarah Contracting, Inc. of Little
Canadar Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabu-
~ lated price of $126,012.05.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby authorized
and directed to enter ,into a contract with Sarah Contracting,
Inc. for $126,012.05 in the name of the City of Arden Hills for
the above improvement according to the plans and specifications
thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk Administrator.
2. The City Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and
directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have
been signed.
The motion was seconded by Councilmember Mulcahy and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
All present; and the following voted against the same: None;
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on August 20, 1984, with the original
thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript insofar as the same relates to Improvement
No. SS-W-P-ST-84-2.
WITNESS MY HAND as such Clerk Administrator and the corporate
