EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
OF CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Held: June 25, 1984
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of
the City of Arden Hills met in regular session at the City Hall
on Monday, the 25th day of June, 1984, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and
Councilmembers Hicks, Rauenhorst, Christiansen and MulcahYl and
the following were absent: none.
Councilmember Christiansen introduced the following resolu-
tion and moved its adoption:
Resolution No. 84-20
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMNT FOR BIDS ON
IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-p-St-84-2
.
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council on
May 9, 1984, the City Consulting Engineers have prepared plans
and specifications for Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-84-2 and have
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for
approval.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden
Hills as follows:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are
attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.

2. The City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause to
be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper, and
in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the
making of such approved plans and specifications. The adver-
tisement for Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-84-2 shall be published as
required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call
for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall
state that the bids will be received by the City Clerk
Administrator until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on August 9, 1984, at which
time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City
Clerk Administrator and City Consulting Engineer, will then be
tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the Council,
and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the Clerk Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, cer-
tified check or bid bond payable to the Clerk Administrator for
ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilmember Hicks and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor: Al11
and the following voted against: None 1
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk
Administrator of the City of Arden Hills of Ramsey County,
Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the
attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of
said City Council held on the 25th day of June, 1984, at 7:30
o'clock p.m., with the original thereof on file in my office and
the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom inso-
far as the same relates
to Improvement No. SS-w-p-ST-84-2.
