DESIGNATION OF ADDITIONAL DEPOSITORIES
FOR INVESTMENT PURPOSES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 84-1 designetes the
Norwest Bank St. Paul, N.A. and the Rosevll Ie State B~nk
es official deposltorles for funds of the Clty of Arden ~ll1s
for the calendar year 1984; and
WHEREAS, It Is desirable to Invest City fundS at the
highest aveilable Interest rate,
NOW, THERE FORE, BE 1 T HEREBY RESOLVED that e tfect I ve
this date, the following banks .and savings and loans are
designated additional depositories for the sole purpo!f8 of
Investing funds of the City of Arden Hills:

American Savings and Loan, Stockton, California

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City TreaslJrer Is
authorized to take whatever actions are necessary to make
Inve.stments at the aforesaid depositories and to ascertain
that adequate security, as required by the laws of the State
of Minnesota, Is furnished by such depositories to protect
the City's deposited funds against financial loss.
Passed by the City Council of Arden HII Is, Minnesota
this 3rd day of January, 1984.
