Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was duly
held at the City Hall in said City on Thursday, the 1st day of
December, 1983, at 5:15 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Robert woodburn,
Councilmen Dale Hicks and Diane McAllister; and the following
were absent: Councilmen Michael Christiansen and Thomas Mulcahy.
Councilman McAllister introduced and moved the adoption of
the following resolution:
Resolution No. 83-69
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR
WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. W-83-4
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above
improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on
file in the office of the Clerk Administrator of said City, said
bids were received on November 30, 1983, at 2:00 o'clock p.m.,
opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement:

that 0 and P Contracting Inc. of
, is the lowest responsible bidder at
the tabulated price of $192,777.70.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arden HillS, Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with 0 and P COntracting
Inc. for $192,777.70 in the name of the City of Arden Hills for
the above improvement according to the plans and specifications
thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk Administrator.
2. The City Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and
directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have
been signed.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Hicks and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor
Robert Woodburn, Councilmen Dale Hicks and Diane McAllister; and
the following voted against the same: None; whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator. of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the Council of said
City held on December 1, 1983, with the original thereof on file
in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete trans-
cript therefrom insofar as the same relates to awarding bids for
Water Improvement No. W-83-4.
