Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
~ meeting of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall, 1450 West Highway
96, in said City, on Monday, the lIth day of July, 1983, at
7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and
Councilmen Mulcahy, Chr istiansen, McAllister and Hicks; and,
the fOllowing were absent: None.
Councilman Hicks introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
Resolution No. 83-37
RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-83-2
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No.
SS-83-2 of the City of Arden Hills on all that property
located in the South 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 27,'
Township 30, Range 23 (131S Red Fox Road) in the City of Arden
Hills by the extension of sanitary sewer and necessary appur-
tenances, and

WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the
legal notice relating to the original hearing on the improve-
ment and the resolution relating thereto, and the contract
price for such improvement is $ 23.8/;0; 00 and the other expen-
ses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improve-
ment will be $ 6. 105.00 so that the total cost of the
improvement will be $ 29.970.0Q and of this cost the City
will pay $ -0- as its share of the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Arden HillS, Minnesota, as follows:
I. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $ 29.970.00.
2. The City Clerk Administrator, together with the
assistance of the City Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith

calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such
work against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land
within the improvement affected, without regard to cash
valuation, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy of
such proposed assessment in her office for public inspection.
The City Clerk Administrator may arrange for the assistance of
the Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the
preparation of the proposed assessment roll.
3. The City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion
of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for
their further action and for their setting of an assessment
hearing therefor.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Christiansen and upon vote
being taken thereon, the fOllowing voted in favor thereof:.
All; and the following voted against the same: None;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on the llth day of July, 1983, with
the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a
full, true and complete transcript insofar as the same relates
to Improvement No. SS-83-2.
