Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Tuesday, the 3lst
day of May, 1983, at 5:00 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and
Councilmen Mulcahy and Hicks; and the following were absent:
Councilmen McAllister and Christiansen.
Councilman Hicks introduced and moved the adoption of the
following resolution:
Resolution No. 83-3l
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR
IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-83-3
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above
improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof
on file in the office of the Clerk Administrator of said City,
said bids were received on May 25, 1983, at 2:00 o'clock p.m.,
opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Hydrocon, Inc. of North Branch,
Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated
price of $103,235.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
I. The Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby
authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Hydrocon,
Inc. for $103,235.50 in the name of the City of Arden Hills
for the above improvement according to the plans and specifi-
cations thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Clerk Administrator.
2. The City Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized
and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids except the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until
contracts have been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Mulcahy and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All
Present; and the following voted against the same: None;
whe~eupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes of meeting of the Council of
said City held on May 31, 1983, with the original thereof on
file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete
transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to awarding
bids for Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-83-3.
WITNESS MY HAND as such Clerk Administrator and the
corporate seal of said City this /rJd day of June, 1983.
