Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
February 14, 1983
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council
'of the City of Arden Hills met in regular session at the City
Hall on Monday, the 14th day of February, 1983, at 7:30 o'clock
p.m.
The following members were present:
Councilmen McAllister, Mulcahy, Hicks and
the following were absent: None.
Mayor Woodburn and
Christiansen; and
Councilman Christiansen introduced the following resolu-
tion and moved its adoption:
Resolution No. 83-11
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING
FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-83-2
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden Hills
as follows:
l. By resolution adopted January 31, 1983, the Council
has directed the City Consulting Engineer to prepare a pre-
liminary report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement
including all that property located in the South 1/2 of the
Northeast 1/4 of Section 27, Township 30, Range 23 (1315 Red
Fox Road) in the City of Arden Hills by the extension of
sanitary sewer and necessary appurtenances. The Consulting
Engineer was also directed to include in the report the esti-
mated cost of the proposed improvement and as to whether such
improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection
with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost
estimate have been submitted and considered by the Council
and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in
the office of the City Clerk Administrator. The improvement
proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the
report is designated as Improvement No. SS-83-2.
2. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 1450 West
Highway 96, in said City, on March 28, 1983, at 7:30 o'clock
p.m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the pro-
posed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and the Clerk Administrator
is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the
time, place and purpose of that meeting to be published twice
in the official newspaper, New Brighton Bulletin, which

publications shall be a week apart, and the second publication
shall be not less than three days before the date of the
hearing.
3. The notice shall be in substantially the following

NOTICE OF HEARING
ON IMPROVEMENT NO. 55-83-2
CITY OF ARDEN HILL5, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of
Arden Hills, Minnesota, will meet at the City Hall, 1450 West
Highway 96, in said City, on the 28th day of March, 1983, at
7:30 o'clock p.m., to hold a public hearing pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, on proposed
Improvement No. 55-83-2 incl~ding all that property located
in the South 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 27, Township
30, Range 23 (1315 Red Fox Road) in the City of Arden Hills
by the extension of sanitary sewer and necessary appurtenances.
The foregoing is all substantially in accordance with a pre-
liminary engineering report which is now on file and open to
public inspection in the office of the City Clerk Administrator.
The cost of the improvement is presently estimated at
$24,000.00. The area proposed to be assessed for the
improvement shall be the following:
All that property located in the 50uth 1/2
of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 27, Township
30, Range 23 (1315 Red Fox Road) in the City
of Arden Hills.
All persons desiring to be heard with reference to the
improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor may
appear and be heard by the City Council at the time and place
stated above.

4. The general nature, estimated cost and area proposed
to be assessed for Improvement No. SS-83-2 are determined to be
as stated in the foregoing notice, as fully as though the same
were separately set forth and resolved herein.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Mulcahy and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All;
and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on the 14th day of February, 1983,
with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same
is a full, true and complete transcript insofar as the same
relates to Improvement No. SS-83-2.
