Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 31st day
of January, 1983, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and
Councilmen Mulcahy, Cl1ristiansen, McAllister and Hicks; and
the following were absent: None.
Councilman Hicks introduced and moved the adoption of the
following resolution:
Resolution No. 83-8
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT NO. P-83-1
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve that portion of the
City of Arden Hills, in conjunction with Ramsey County and
the City of Shoreview, including all that property on
Lexington Avenue between County Road F and County Road G-2
by the installation of aggregate base, bituminous surfacing,
concrete curb and gutter, bituminous walkway, storm drainage
facilities, necessary excavation, acquisition of construction
easements and necessary appurtenances, and to assess the
benefitted property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minn. Statutes Secs. 429.011 to
429.111 (Minn. Statutes 1961).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA:

That the proposed improvement be referred to the City
Consulting Engineer for study and that he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the
Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be
made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement,
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman McAllister and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
All; and the following voted against the same: None; where-
upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota,
do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on the 31st day of January,
1983, with the original thereof on file in my office, and the
same is a full, true and complete transcript insofar as the
same relates to Improvement No. P-83-1.
