WHERE:1lS, the City of

has granted a cable CXllIIIunicatialS frandlise ordinance to Group W Cable of the
North SuI:11rbs, Inc., a subsidiary of Westinghoose Broadcasting and Cable, Inc. #
~, Cl'l Novetltler 12, 1982, City was issued a Regular Certificate
of ConfiIlllatiCl'l ~ the Minnesota Cable CoIIInunications Board relative to the
Group W Cable franchise#
mEREAS, City believes it to be in its best interest and the most
efficient utilizatiCl'l of resources for City to participate in a Joint and
Coc:perative Agreement for the Administration of the Cable Comnunications System#
and
, \tiERE'AS, said joint and c:x:q;lerative effort is authorized ~ Minn.
Stat. 1471.59, as amended#
'lHEREroRE, BE IT ~VED, that the City COuncil of the City of
Arden Hills
shall participate in the North Suburban Cable
Comnission for the administration of the a cable cx:rmunications system,
BE IT FURIHER RESOLVED, that the apprcpriate officers of City shall
execute the final Joint and Coc:perative Agreement of the North Suburban Cable
