RESOLUTION NO. 86-61
COMMENDING CHARLOTTE K. MCNIESH
WHEREAS, Charlotte McNiesh began her employment
.
with the Village of Arden Hills in April of 1962, and
WHEREAS, Charlotte began her employment as Village
Accountant, served as records keeper for the Police Department,
and, since 1973, as Clerk Administrator, and
WHEREAS, Charlotte is retiring from employment
with the Village of Arden Hills on December 31, 1986 after
twenty four (24) years of employment, and has, in her years with
the Village, helped to guide the growth of the Village from a
rural community of approximately 4,000 citizens to a thriving
metropolis of over 9,000 and,
WHEREAS, Charlotte's citizen contact has been
marked by an obvious fairness, openness and knowledge of Village
affairs that has engendered universal admiration and respect,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Arden
Hills City Council, on behalf of itself and all the citizens of
Arden Hills, expresses its sincere gratitude and thanks to
Charlotte for her years of leadership, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council extends
its warm wishes to Charlotte and Bob for continuing good health
and happiness in their retirement.
Adopted by the Arden Hills Council this 29th day
of December, 1986.
