Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
June 30, 1986
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, June 30, 1986,
commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members of the Council were present: Mayor
Woodburn and Council members Hicks, Hansen, Peck and Sather.
Also in attendance were Clerk-Administrator McNiesh,
Deputy Clerk Zehm, Public Works Supervisor Raddatz, Treasurer
Lamb, and City Engineers Christoffersen and Peters.
Engineers Christoffersen and Peters referred the Council
to the plans for Northwoods Addition. They briefly described the
street, sanitary sewer, water and drainage improvements to be
constructed therein. They noted that there would be two on-site
ponds with a well to supply water to the ponds in this project.
Council member Hansen thereupon introduced and moved the
adoption of the following Resolution:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-31
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-86-1 (NORTHWOODS)
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREON
WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted on April 28,
1986
(Resolution No. 86-23), the Council of the City approved the
Feasibility Report for Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-86-1, Northwoods

(the "Improvement") and authorized and directed the City Engineer

to prepare and submit to the City Council the plans and
specifications (the "Plans") for the Improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared the Plans and the
Council has reviewed and discussed them,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA THAT:
1. The Plans, in the form submitted to the
Council, be hereby approved;
2. The Clerk-Administrator be instructed to file a
copy of the Plans in the City Hall;
3. The Clerk-Administrator prepare and cause to be
inserted in the New Briqhton Bulletin, the
official paper of the City, and in the
Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for the
construction of the Improvement which shall
specify the work to be done, call for bids upon
the basis of a cash payment for such work, and
shall state that:

(a) The bids will be received by the Clerk-
Administrator until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on
July 25, 1986 (or such later date as the
Clerk-Admi~istrater- deems advisable or
necessary under the circumstances) at the
City Hall at which time and place they
will be publicly opened by the Clerk-
Administrator and the City Engineer, will
then be tabulated, and will subsequently
be considered by the Council; and
(b) No bids shall be considered unless sealed
and filed with the Clerk-Administrator and
accompanied by a cash deposit, certified
check or bid bond payable to the City in
the amount of ten percent (10%) of the
amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Peck and, upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk-Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on the 30th day of June, 1986 with the
original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full,
true and complete transcript thereof insofar as the same relates
to the proposed Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-86-l (Northwoods).
