Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Arden Hills Ramsey County, Minnesota March 10, 1986 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, March 10, 1986, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members of the Council were present: Mayor Woodburn and Council members Sather, Peck, Hicks and Hansen. Also in attendance were Clerk-Administrator McNiesh, Deputy Clerk Zehm, City Treasurer Lamb, City Attorney Lynden, Public Works Supervisor Raddatz, and City Planner Miller. Planner Miller described in detail the plans of Naegele, Inc. to subdivide the property which is the subject of a Petition for Improvement W-86-2 (the "Improvement"), a water main improvement to serve the Truhler Addition and neighboring properties. Most of the discussion dealt with the project itself rather than the Improvement. In response to Naegele's submission of the petition for the Improvement, Councilman Hicks introduced and moved the adoption of the following Resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 86-14 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR IMPROVEMENT W-86-2, TRUHLER ADDITION WHEREAS, a certain petition (the "Petition") requesting water main improvements (the "Improvement") and related . . benefiting a 23.82 acre tract of land and adjacent parcels of land located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Interstate Highway Nos. 35W and 694 was filed with the City Council on March 10, 1986, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA THAT: 1. The Petition be declared to have been signed by the requisite percentage of owners of property affected by the Improvement as required by Section 429.035 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended, and 2. The Petition be referred to the City Engineer who is hereby instructed and directed to prepare an analysis report as to whether the Improvement is feasible and should be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and what the estimated cost of the Improvement will be, such report to the Council to be prepared with all convenient speed. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Sather and, upon vote being taken thereon, all of the Councilmen voted in favor thereof, whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. - 2 - . . , .
